AVIF is the most efficient format here, so it starts small and gets smaller reluctantly. Compression still helps when a file was exported at a conservative quality. AVIF encoding is feature-detected — if your browser can't encode it, we'll say so and offer WEBP instead.

My browser says AVIF export isn't supported.+
Some browsers decode AVIF but can't encode it. Convert to WEBP instead — it's close in size and universally supported.
Can it get my AVIF under 1 MB?+
